Fall is finally here and with the cooler weather comes bonfires, tailgates, and my favorite treat, s’mores! Today I’m sharing a quick recipe that is a combination of two classic treats that you can easily bring to your next tailgate party. I brought these to the Ohio State tailgate we went to this past weekend and they were a hit! What better way to break in the fall season than with an Ohio State Buckeye win and some s’mores?
S’more Rice Krispies Pinwheels
What You’ll Need
10.5 ounce miniature marshmallows (one bag)
¼ cup butter
5 cup Rice Krispies cereal
¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
7 oz jar of marshmallow creme
6 Hershey’s chocolate bars
How It’s Made
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Grease and line a 10×15 pan with waxed paper. Be sure you grease the wax paper to make it easier to roll at the end. Set pan aside.
Combine the bag of mini marshmallows and ¼ cup of butter in a microwavable safe bowl. Melt the marshmallows on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue this until the marshmallows are completely melted.
Stir in 5 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and 3/4 cup of graham cracker crumbs. Note: I used 1 cup graham cracker crumbs to make the graham cracker taste more noticeable.
Press mixture into prepped pan.
Spread marshmallow crème on top using a spatula.
Place Hershey’s chocolate bars on top of the marshmallow crème.
Place in oven at 200 degrees for a few minutes to soften the chocolate. Use a spatula to spread the softened chocolate.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes.
Start rolling the Rice Krispies, starting with the long side. Peel away the wax paper as you roll. Pinch seams together.
Place seam side down and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chocolate has set.
Slice and serve!
